Surrey, B.C. – The Independent Investigations Office (IIO) of BC is investigating a police-involved shooting in Surrey that has left one man dead.
At approximately 10:00 am this morning, officers were called to the 13200 block of 108 Avenue in Surrey. According to RCMP, a man at that location had threatened to cause harm in a public place.
The man was located inside a residence, and shots were fired by police. The man was transported to hospital, where he died.
