IIO seeks witnesses to police-involved incident in Campbell River

SURREY – The Independent Investigations Office (IIO) is seeking witnesses to a police-involved incident in Campbell River.
On December 2, 2012, the IIO initiated an investigation into a police-involved motor vehicle collision in the area of Evergreen Road and Dogwood Street. Witnesses have indicated that a vehicle with three or more occupants was in the area and that the occupants engaged in a verbal exchange with other witnesses near the scene.
The IIO would like to identify and speak to these individuals. Anyone who witnessed this incident is asked to contact the IIO Witness Line at 1-855-446-8477.
