IIO seeking witnesses to an incident in Victoria (IIO 2020-36)
Victoria – The Independent Investigations Office of BC is seeking witnesses to an arrest in Victoria.
The incident occurred on February 16, 2020 at approximately 10:00pm when Victoria PD officers arrested two males on the wharf near Harbour Air in front of the restaurant Red Fish Blue Fish. One male resisted arrest and, after a struggle, was taken into custody.

The IIO is asking that any witnesses to this incident, including a witness who assisted officers during the arrest, contact the IIO Witness Line at 1-855-446-8477.
Background
