NEW INVESTIGATIONS:

IIO 14-00o169 – Vancouver Police Department

On September 26, an adult male sustained serious injuries to his arm at or around the time he was taken into the custody of the Vancouver Police Department. The incident was reported to the IIO and an investigation is underway.

There have been a number of IIO deployments across the province where preliminary investigations are underway; however, the sustained jurisdiction decision remains pending.
