Surrey – The Independent Investigations Office of B.C. is seeking witnesses to a motor vehicle incident involving the Vancouver Police Department.
On Saturday, January 6, 2018, an unmarked VPD vehicle (a grey SUV) was involved in a crash that left a pedestrian with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The IIO is asking anybody who saw the grey SUV travelling southbound on Knight Street near the intersection of 20th Avenue at approximately 9:39 p.m. to contact the witness line at 1-855-446-8477.
The IIO believes there are more people who may have witnessed the incident at the time of impact. This includes vehicles driving in both directions.
