Surrey, B.C. — The Independent Investigations Office of BC (IIO) is seeking witnesses to a motor vehicle incident in Vancouver where one man was injured.

Information from the Vancouver Police Department states that at about 8:25 p.m. on March 29, 2025, police attended a parkade in the 1000 block of Denman Street and attempted to speak to the occupants of a white Dodge Charger who had reportedly been sitting in the vehicle for some hours. The Charger left the parkade and there was a minor collision with a police vehicle as it exited driving east on Nelson Street.

A short time later, there were two collisions involving a Charger subsequently confirmed to be the same one from the parkade. The first was with a gray Toyota Corolla near the intersection of Pendrell and Denman streets, and the second collision was a white Tesla Model 3 in the 1800 block of Pendrell Street.

Two men from the Charger were arrested, and the driver sustained injuries during the incident.

The IIO was notified on April 4, 2025 and has begun an investigation.

The IIO is asking any person with relevant information about the incident to please contact the Witness Line toll-free at 1-855-446-8477 or via the contact form on the iiobc.ca website.
