Surrey – The Independent Investigations Office is seeking witnesses to an incident involving Prince George RCMP.
According to police, at around 06:30 a.m. on Thursday February 18, 2016 they attempted to initiate a stop on a stolen truck at the 2300 block of Norwood Street in Prince George. Police report that the occupants of the truck tried to evade them and were arrested.
The IIO is asking witnesses or anyone who knows of potential witnesses to this incident to contact the IIO Toll-free Witness Line at 1-855-446-8477. Additionally, anyone who has video or photographs of the incident is also asked to contact the number above.
