Surrey- The Independent Investigations Office of B.C. has deployed investigators to a Motor Vehicle Incident in Vancouver.
According to police, at approximately 9:30 p.m. on January 6, 2018 a police vehicle collided with a pedestrian in the area of Knight street and 20th Ave. The pedestrian was transferred to hospital with potentially serious but not fatal injuries.
IIO investigators were deployed to the scene shortly after and are conducting standard tasks including obtaining physical evidence from the scene, interviewing any civilian witnesses, reviewing available CCTV footage, and designating and interviewing officers.
