Surrey – The Independent Investigations Office of B.C. is seeking witnesses to a Motor Vehicle Incident in Kamloops on December 08, 2018.
According to the RCMP, at approximately 12:30 a.m., a collision occurred between an unmarked police vehicle and a civilian vehicle at Grasslands Blvd & Westsyde Rd, Kamloops.
The IIO is asking anyone who saw, heard or may have dash cam footage of the incident to contact the IIO witness line at 1-855-446-8477.
Background
The IIO is the independent civilian oversight agency of the police in British Columbia. It investigates all officer-related incidents that result in serious harm or death, whether or not there is any allegation of wrongdoing.
